I’m overwhelmed by the response I’ve received to my appeal for help. As promised, I have set the wheels in motion to process an early remittance with Givealittle admin.
I would like to thank all those who have donated and also shared the page amongst their networks. However, with the damage being estimated at $13.2 billion, the fight has just begun.

Thankfully many NGOs and philanthropic organisations like the Ramkrishna Mission have jumped into the fray with relief operations - see attached video.
I request you to please share this page more widely to help build awareness around the magnitude of the disaster and the hardships faced by the poor in these areas.
