David Tyler School Sponsorship

50 CHILDREN ARE URGENTLY IN NEED OF SPONSORSHIP TO GO TO SCHOOL THIS YEAR.

We are looking for families and individuals who would be willing to help a child for one year.

Education is the key to escaping a lifetime of poverty and you can change the course of a child's life by sponsoring them at the David Tyler School in Uganda.

With no welfare system in Uganda, the impact of Covid has caused loss of jobs and small businesses and many households are no long able to afford school fees. After two years of schools being closed, many children need our help as schools are opening up again this September.

$25 a month or a one off gift of $300 provides a child with school fees, uniform, stationery, a school bag and school lunches for one year.

Donations are eligible for 33% tax credit so the cost of helping one child to go to school can be $200 for year (less than $4 a week). Givealittle can now receive weekly, fortnightly or monthly donations

If sponsoring a child is not possible but you would still like to help, then a donation of $20 would cover the annual cost of stationery for one child who is not currently in the sponsorship programme, but would be excited to know that someone in New Zealand was willing to help.

You will not only be investing in the future of one child but also their family and future generations.
