UPDATE-confirmation by vet- Need to operate on Dixie’s hip now- FHO-amputating ball of his hip

A while ago we reached out to help Dix.

I recused a couple years from the middle of the road (few weeks old vets guessed)

Wanted to make sure he had a fighting chance like any kitty cat deserves- he has now grown into a lovely beautiful Cat (now 2.5 yrs)

Sadly Dixie has done his Right back Patella..which has resulted in number of vet visits/X-rays & discussion of surgery to get Dixie back to been the kitty cat he deserves.

After trying to see if he will gain his strength back, heal itself, in this time became unwell & was diagnosed with seizures/epilepsy which with held our steps to getting his knee fixed. He was transferred to a specialist to help manage his seizure (now on awesome medication(which is very costly). These vets have discussed to get his patella done & while assessing Dixie they have came to the conclusion that his patella is due to a hip injury (possible hit by a car (which would have started the patella). First step to get Dixie patella done, Recovery, then look at getting hip done, as he is becoming in alot of pain.

He’s a few days post op, let me tell you he is an true champion.

But sadly He has had bills after bills which is why Im here. Every bit counts. Dixie is a fighter.. we have X-rays,his hip,epilepsy meds,physio to come still.
