Alhamdulillah, Allah (SWT) have given The Islamic Education & Dawah Trust another great opportunity to buy a (church) property at 5 Ballarat Street, Ellerslie, Auckland, which consists of 1298m2 of freehold land. IED Trust have successfully made an agreement to purchase a church property for $1.95M. 10% deposit has already been paid. The balance needs to be paid asap to settle and acquire possession in Nov-2023 or before.

This property has minimal hindrance in its operation. This would enable us to fulfil our vision to have an Islamic hub to serve the needs of the people of Ellerslie and the Central Auckland suburbs. The proposed Islamic hub would have many facilities such as: * Prayer Hall, * Meeting/conference rooms, * Classrooms for Education, * Wudu area, bathroom /toilet, * Kitchen, * Dawah/other needs facilities, * Parking spaces

Here is an opportunity for you to do a Sadaqah-jariyah (ongoing reward).

Donate and become part of securing and converting a church into an Islamic Centre and get your name tagged for the great course and be rewarded in both the worlds, in-shaa-Allah.

The Messenger of Allah said: “Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah,

Allah will build for him a house in Paradise”.

Please encourage other family members, friends and other Muslim organization to contribute.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
