Eli's goliath battle with Leukemia

As an aunt, I never thought I would ever need to write an intro like this, let alone make a page like this asking for donations. But here I am with tears, not sure if writing this makes it even more real or if the realisation only truly hit me now.

3 weeks ago, the Teo's - Dad Eti, Mum Marietta (my sister) and older sister Isabelle (13) world came crashing down after Eli (9) was admitted to the hospital.

Like all other kids his age Eli was still enjoying late nights and even better later sleep ins in the morning, but was looking forward to going back to school. Unfortunately, life had other plans for him and his family.

Now, instead of battling games with his friends during lunch breaks and in the afternoons at home on the computer, or making jokes in the back of the class, Eli's friends have become his medical team. The battle he now faces, he does not even fully understand, let alone comprehend, but his family does.

AML Leukemia, and they just finished the last day of the first cycle of a gruesome 10-day chemo cycle with several multi-chemo round days. Doctors have told them Eli would most likely not leave the hospital for the next 6 months, so more treatments may follow, but we continue to pray for a miracle cause we serve an Almighty God.

I have started this page to assist them with finances. The goal is to hopefully raise enough funds so they do not need to worry about work to cover bills while Eli is in the hospital, and can be with him as much as they possibly can.
