    I only knew Virgil through an online gardening group, but what an impression he made. He was incredibly generous with his time and knowledge and had such a wonderful way with words. I am so sad to hear of his passing. My condolences to you, his family. A wonderful man.

I was a member of the Devonport Community Garden and was lucky enough to take a couple of Virgils workshops. I just wanted to say what an impression Virgil left, he was one of those special human beings whose zeal for gardening and gift for teaching was a total joy. My thoughts are with your family. xoxo
