Evolve Festival Cancellation Relief

Evolve Festival is a well-known festival that has been in the Nelson community since the mid nineties. It is a place we're the community can come and receive support, information, bodywork, healing and advice from many wellbeing businesses and enjoy the entertainment that the festival has to offer. It has also provided work and promotion to all their exhibitors, workshop presenters, performers and crew, as well as local business's in the event industry. Evolve has been creating national and international attention to our community for the last 7 years and we want to see this continue. As always this year meant a huge effort from everyone involved, especially during the night to evacuate the campsite. Unfortunately this year's festival was cancelled on the Sunday due to severe weather. This meant that the organisers had to suffer the large costs. We are asking for people's support of $10,000 to cover these costs, this is not including loss of income or the festival organisers time spent organising. We want to see Evolve Festival continue in our region so please support this great cause.
