Farmlands are proud to support rural communities across New Zealand.

Hawke's Bay

Each year, the Hawke's Bay Rescue Helicopter Crew completes over 320 critical, lifesaving missions in the region, an around 50% of all missions are to rural locations.

Accidents or sudden illness can happen at any time, which is why the Crew are on call 24/7, 365 days a year, but it costs $2.3 million each year to provide this service.

Summer can be one of the busiest times of year for the Hawke's Bay Rescue Helicopter, which is why Farmlands is proud to support the Rescue Helicopter Christmas Appeal, and help to provide a vital lifeline to our Rural Community here in Hawke's Bay.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
