Hawke's Bay
The Cole Murray Cape Kidnappers Trail run is proudly supporting the Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter. The Rescue Helicopter Service needs to fundraise $1.3 million dollars every year to keep going.
This is a vital rescue service for the Hawke's Bay region and they rely on the generosity of the community to continue to save lives.
The average rescue mission costs the trust $4,000. If 40 runners raise $100 each, that is one whole rescue mission paid for!
Do you know 5 friends or family members that would be willing to donate $20? That is your $100 sorted!
The Hawke’s Bay Rescue Helicopter Trust is a charitable trust established to provide a dedicated Rescue Helicopter Service in the Hawke’s Bay region. Each year the Rescue Helicopter Crew completes almost 400 lifesaving missions, helping those who need urgent medical care and transportation.
Our service is free to everyone in our community, and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days per year.
Our vital services cost around $3million each year to operate, and we rely solely upon the generosity and goodwill of the people and businesses of Hawke’s Bay to remain operational and saving lives.
