This page has been created on behalf of 3 of the families who lost their loved ones in a devastating accident.
Taranaki
On Tuesday the 9th of Nov 2021, 4 incredible Taranaki locals were tragically taken from us in a car accident near Levin - Joep, Richard, Tracey and Cass.
Joep was the owner of the local Volcano view cafe and very loved leader of a freedom group. Richard was a passionate school caretaker, Tracey was a beautiful teachers aid and Cass was a beloved teacher at Devon intermediate school. These were loving parents, brothers, sisters, children, aunty’s, uncles… and friends who will be sorely missed by all who knew them.
We honour and commend you Joep, Richard, Tracey and Cass, not only for your courage to stand and fight for freedom, but for the people you were and for all that you have done in this life.
Your legacy lives on, our brave Freedom Warriors ❤️
All donations will be split 3 ways between Tracey, Cass, and Joeps family to support them with the costs of laying their loved ones to rest and anything that may be left will support them in the next chapter of their lives.
This givealittle page has been set up on behalf of these 3 families. *(Please note that Richards family has set up a personal page just for him, head over to https://givealittle.co.nz/cause/levin-accident-tragedy-support-for-richard-parsons to donate there as well)*

If i had one word to describe my mum it would be yugen. a noun meaning a profound, mysterious sense of the beauty of the universe that triggers a deep emotional response. i grew up being with a mum who knew her own way through life and learning her own journey. she was truly inspiring to me and hundreds of people. she touched so many lives. she is ethereal. something out of this world. there’s really no words to describe my mum. she was many things all at once. indescribable. she was passionate and truthful, beautiful and free and she didn’t have a care in the world yet she cared so much. i couldn’t have gone through these 19 years without her im so glad we got to be together for this life and i can’t wait to be together for the next. we will meet again someday when the time is right. she couldn’t have gone out any better way, it’s just unfortunate it happened so soon but i know she is safe and well. you are loved by hundreds mum. we are all going to make you so proud.
