Let's get our campus divestment organisers to the second half of their Fossil Free Fellowship in Australia!
Nationwide
It's time for our Student Divestment Organisers, Erica, Charlie and Jess, to head to Australia to complete the second half of their Fossil Free Fellowship.
Erica, one of the organisers said,
"I have spent a lot of time since the training reflecting on why I stay involved with 350, and learning to articulate this to others to motivate them to get involved.
We’ve put a number of my learnings into practice and had a hugely successful start to semester, with 67 new members and a strong core team of over 20 volunteers. We want to grow a sustainable network of young climate activists on campus, and provide skills and ongoing training to run a successful divestment campaign"
These students are dedicated volunteers, working to shape a better world for all of us by running divestment campaigns at their universities. This is a fabulous opportunity for them to upskill, become more confident and effective in their campus campaigns, and become campaigners for life.
The Fellowship is an intensive program aiming to equip campus activists with the skills and competencies they need to build long-term power on campus – the power we need to win.
Our student campaigners will receive ongoing training and support after the retreats from professional campaigners in Australia.
We need bright, skilled young campaigners for the health of our climate movement. Please help us support them!
