Fundraising to help cover vet bills of Foster dogs and puppies

Waikato

Recently Freeda Dog helped a large amount of dogs from up North of New Zealand find temporary foster homes.

After much struggle foster homes were found all around the North Island, and they are doing fantastically.

The adoption fees charge to adopt them barely covers the part cost of their vet bills, even with the discounts the vets give us.

Currently the rest of the money comes out of personal pockets, and it amounts in the thousands each year.

I am fund raising to help cover the vet bills, to make sure these animals no longer have to breed time after time, and are free from sickness for the rest of their lives

People are quick to offer blankets or food, but the reality is that the vet bills need to be paid, and currently this is coming out of personal pockets.

I currently am fostering a mother foxy cross with her 6 puppies. Due to conditions she was in prior to coming to my place, she lost 2 puppies already during birth (total birthed was 8)

To vaccinate and desex each pup is going to cost up to $500 each, plus dog food and any other issues that need dealing with (worming, fleas etc)

This means about $3000 will come out of personal incomes to cover these costs.
