Fundraising for Ducky’s ongoing recovery

Our cat Ducky recently suffered a serious injury where she fractured both of her legs and also experienced a tail pull injury. What started as an emergency quickly turned into ongoing care, with surgery, vet visits, medication, and daily support needed just to keep her comfortable and healing.

We’ve been doing everything we can at home — managing her care, helping her with basic needs, and making sure she feels safe and supported — but the costs are continuing to build. Between the initial emergency treatment and the ongoing recovery expenses, it’s become overwhelming to manage alone.

The good news is that Ducky is recovering well so far. She is now 2 weeks post-surgery and has already started regaining her ability to pee on her own, which is a huge step forward after her injuries.

Despite everything, she’s still showing strength — eating, responding, and slowly improving each day — which is why we’re not ready to give up on her.

We’re asking for help to cover her ongoing vet bills and recovery costs. Any support, no matter how small, would mean a lot to us and would go directly toward giving Ducky the best chance at a full recovery.
