To get our Maranatha team to Sydney to compete on the international stage.
Wellington
A group of senior girls from Maranatha Christian School recently won the Tournament of Minds National Competition (The Arts ) earning them a place at the International Finals in Sydney, Australia on 1 November. This is a huge achievement and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The girls have worked tirelessly dedicating many hours in preparing for the competitions leading up to this.
Tournament of Minds is a problem solving program for teams of students from both primary and secondary years. It is an opportunity for students with a passion for learning and problem solving to demonstrate their skills and talents in an exciting, vibrant and public way.
But getting to Sydney is expensive...there's flights, accommodation, meals, transport and competition fees. We are asking for your help to ensure that the girls can attend. The costs are estimated to be $2000 each. All funds raised will be evenly split amongst the seven contestants and two adult helpers.
Every little bit helps so please donate now!
