The streets of New Plymouth were bombed with an incredible amount of talent from the 2-9 March 2026 with twenty walls around our CBD being repainted with new imagery & designs.
The artists produced some impressive murals that have breathed new life and energy into our city and the amount of support and admiration received has been heart warming.
The festival brought our community together and provided events that drew people in from all corners. Music, interactive walls & workshops.
Our goal is to pay forward what these artists what they truly deserve - a well paid fee. Although we can provide a very minimal payment on our part, it's a small drop in the bucket, and we think the people of our region will like to contribute to compensate each and every one of them.
Every dollar raised here will go directly to the artists. So, come on New Plymouth! Let's show our appreciation!
About us
GET UP FEST just provided the New Plymouth community with a buzzing street art festival from the 2-9 March 2026!
It included live paint murals, education sessions, music and interactive walls. Let's raise funds and pay it forward to the artists!
Use of funds
The amount raised will be distributed fairly and evenly to the participating artists creating murals on 20 walls in the CBD, according to the size and time spent to create their mural.
