Neve is a little stray kitten that has had to have surgery to remove her tail due to severe injuries.
Southland
on Tuesday 5 January 2016 SPCA Southlands volunteer Ambulance service picked up Neve (8 week old, DSH white female kitten) who had suffered severe injures that had caused her tail and part of her back to be de-gloved (the fur and skin had come off). She was immediately taken to Elles Road Vets and surgery to amputate her tail and tend to her back end was performed the next day. Neve has come out of surgery and is recovering well. We are hoping that you, the public will help us to help Neve by donating.
SPCA Southland is a non government funded charity that focuses on animal welfare and rehoming animals. Neve will be part of the SPCA family until she is well enough to be desexed, vaccinated, micro chipped and rehomed to her forever family.
Donating to SPCA Southland will help many of the unwanted animals at the shelter get desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and de'flea'd before finding their new homes.
Your donations will also go towards our Inspectorate and help the ensure that we can assist the neglected and abused animals of Southland.
