Please help Simon to get much needed surgery to have his front leg amputated due to injuries he sustained during his time as a stray cat.
Southland
Simon is a loving, sweet, kind, smoochy boy who needs a second chance. Simon was straying over farmland enjoying the life of a free roamer but then found himself in a pickle where he was tangled in a farm fence with one leg and stuck in a leg hold trap with another. He was found by some residents of the area who helped set him free and get him to the vet clinic. Simon now needs help to have his leg amputated as he has lost all feeling to his font paw
that was tangled in the fence which sadly can not be saved. Help Simon to get the second chance he deserves.
The SPCA has been entrusted to care for Simon and with your help, get the surgery performed that he needs.
Donating to SPCA Southland will help many of the unwanted animals at the shelter get desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and de'flea'd before finding their new homes.
Your donations will also go towards our Inspectorate and help the ensure that we can assist the neglected and abused animals of Southland.
To cover the costs of surgery and after care until Simon is well enough to find a new loving family to call his own.
Simon's full recovery 7 December 2017
Simon had his surgery around a month ago and has now made a full recovery. We are so happy that everything has gone so smoothly for him and he is now up for adoption in the SPCA adoption room. The only task ahead is finding the perfect family he can call his own.
