Kujo needs your help to support his journey to a better life.
Southland
Kujo is 17 months old. He is a Huntaway/Rottweiler cross who was rescued by our inspectorate team on Christmas eve of 2015. He was found tied to a garden shed where he had spent most of his puppy life. Kujo has been at the SPCA shelter now for the past 7 months. He has been adjusting to life as a dog and learning the world beyond his garden shed. He requires a number of hydrotherapy sessions to correct his back end which has been a result of being tied up constantly during his growth period. This can be corrected with the right exercise, therapy and free movement. He also requires a specialized grain free diet to assist in his food allergies. Kujo needs the help from the public to ensure he gets the best start to his new life that we can possibly give him.
Donating to SPCA Southland will help many of the unwanted animals at the shelter get desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and de'flea'd before finding their new homes.
Your donations will also go towards our Inspectorate and help the ensure that we can assist the neglected and abused animals of Southland.
Kujo's Hydrotherapy 1 August 2016
Kujo has attended three hydrotherapy sessions. He is improving every time he enters the swimming pool and has created a trust and friendship with Carl who coaches him along at every session. It is a great sight to see a dog with such a strong determination to conquer all hurdles that come his way. With the support from the public Kujo will be back on the road to adoption in no time!!
