Times are difficult when you have lost your job and your skills aren't up to date - computer skills, CV and letter writing, interview techniques, personal confidence and understanding your rights at work. Literacy Waitakere is offering a course in the community to help adults update their job search and work skills and get the best job they can.

Please support us to reach out to those in need, to pay a tutor, provide computers and other resources, and a warm, comfortable and quiet space to learn. This is a new 8-week course.

About us

Waitākere Adult Literacy Incorporated trading as Literacy Waitākere is a not-for-profit, registered charity which has been at the forefront of literacy provision in Waitākere for over 40 years. Over recent years, our reach has expanded to include a digital literacy programme delivered in South Auckland and literacy programmes on Waiheke Island. Our experienced and well-qualified tutors provide a supportive learning environment to adult learners aged 16 and above.
