Help us print a Student Art Calendar for 2020

$370 of $620 goal
Given by 8 generous donors in 21 days

Help us print a fundraising calendar. Donations over $35 can get a free calendar.

We have created a Literacy Waitākere Art Calendar, partly as a fund raiser and partly as a marketing tool to make the community more aware of what we do. It features art works by our learners and staff and it is stunning.

The more we can raise to cover print costs, the more of the proceeds from sales will be used to continue our work – letting people take control of their lives by building their literacy and numeracy skills. Initially, we have printed 100. They are for sale at our centre at $16 each, including postage within New Zealand. They will make great Christmas presents!

If you donate $35 or more, e-mail your donation receipt to with your postage details and we'll send you a calendar.

About us

Our provision is informal, friendly and learner-centered, staffed by specialist adult literacy tutors. Our programmes encompass reading, writing, speaking, listening, maths, financial literacy, basic computer skills and workplace literacy.

Use of funds

Funds will be used to print full colour calendars to sell. We save money if we print in bulk.
