Literacy Waitakere

Our provision is informal, friendly and learner-centred, staffed by specialist adult literacy tutors. It's a place where second-chance learners can work at their own pace to reach their own goals. Our programmes encompass reading and comprehension, writing, speaking, presenting and listening, everyday maths, financial literacy, basic computer skills and workplace literacy. Literacy gives people hope.

For over 40 years we have provided our literacy service in Waitakere. We are well known and trusted in our community where other education providers and agencies refer learners to our service.
