Handing the shame back is doing its first charity event! We are participating in the 2023 Round the Bays.

Did you know that in NZ up to 1 in 3 adults are adult survivors of child sexual abuse (CSA)?

Were you aware that:

1. That the average age these adults disclose is 52 years old?

2. That over 70% of all PTSD sufferers experienced a form of childhood trauma

3. That over 80% of drug and alcohol addiction are linked to CSA

4. Over 55% of all Suicides are linked to the trauma and shame of CSA

5.It begins in secrecy, builds in silence and the shame of it all keeps them quiet?
