Running a 15km and 21km run to raise money for the Hawkes Bay farmers affected by the floods!

Hawke's Bay

Get your sneakers out and help the boys and gals in red bands.

Many farmers have lost their homes, animals, crop and income sources. I hold a special place in my heart for the rural community so I wanted to see if a few people wanted to come with me in doing what we can.

Every day we need these people - we take for granted how close to home this all is when we eat our lush meat and veg dinner or add milk into our coffee or baking.

NZ has really come together for all of those impacted in the Hawkes Bay community and it has been incredible to see! This is one of the ways I know I can contribute by putting in some hard yards. Please join me, and together we can make a difference.

I will be running a 15km run in Tauranga on April 2nd and then was due to do the Hawkes Bay marathon on May 20th. If the community is still battling their current conditions by then, I will still complete a 21km run on May 20th.

However, since their end date of their fundraiser is before my second run is finished, it will be manually donated.
