Help a Single Mother Rebuild Life With Her Two Children After Being Left With Only $150

I am a single mother of two children — my 11-year-old daughter and 6-year-old son.

We moved to Auckland after being invited by my then-husband, who is a permanent resident. I held a work visa and worked as a Caregiver, often taking double shifts to support my children.

After he left us, I was left alone with no support system. I was left with only about $150 and very limited resources while caring for my children.

From that point, I became the sole provider for my children. We went through hardship, emotional and physical challenges, and long uncertainty.

We had to move multiple times with very limited resources, often carrying only what we could manage. At one point, we were left with almost nothing, only a mattress.

Despite everything, I continued working for my children. We faced difficulties with schooling, and support due to residency limits and were often not eligible for help.

Eventually, my work visa expired in January, and we had to return overseas. I came back with debt and no stable income. We are still waiting for updates on our immigration appeal.

I am now rebuilding our lives from nothing. I am reaching out as a mother doing everything I can for my children. This is about survival, stability, and a fresh start.

I am humbly asking for any support. Any help will go toward basic needs, schooling, and stability for my children.
