Help a survivor of domestic abuse rebuild her life by clearing debt and providing essentials for a fresh start. Every donation helps!
Waikato, Waikato District
She finally got out. After seven long years of fear, control, and unimaginable abuse, she has found the courage to escape. But while she is free from his grasp, she is not free from the damage he left behind.
For years, she endured what no one should ever have to—physical violence, emotional torment, and complete isolation. She was dragged down a gravel driveway, had her belongings destroyed, and was left bruised and broken. Any friendships she formed became a threat to him, and soon, she had no one. She was manipulated into believing she was the problem, that she was crazy, and that she deserved it.
The scars of abuse aren’t just physical. He stripped away her independence, leaving her financially shattered. He took control of everything—her money, her credit, and even her job. Now, she is left with nothing. Her car was repossessed. She lost her income. And the debt he forced upon her still weighs heavily on her name.
But she is not giving up.
Right now, she is staying in my spare room with only a bag of clothes to her name. She has taken the hardest step—leaving—and now she deserves the chance to rebuild.
I am raising funds to help her clear the debt that was forced upon her and to give her the basics she needs to start fresh—a safe place to live, essential belongings, and the ability to stand on her own again.
Any donation, no matter how small, can make an enormous difference. Let’s show her that she is not alone. Let’s help her reclaim her life.
The funds will help clear debt forced upon her, provide essential belongings, secure housing, and support her in rebuilding her life after escaping domestic abuse. Every donation helps her regain independence and start fresh with dignity and security
