$4,935 donated
Given by 54 generous donors in 8 weeks

Support the Aitutaki Aquatics Club's journey to the School Sport Australia Swimming Championships by helping cover their travel expenses.

International

Support the Aitutaki Aquatics Club as they travel to the Gold Coast, Australia, to participate in the School Sport Australia (SSA) Swimming Championships at the Gold Coast Aquatics Centre from July 24-31, 2024. Your generous contribution will help cover travel expenses, enabling our six talented swimmers to compete on an international stage.

Celebrating Our Swim Stars

Our swimmers' exceptional performance at the Cook Islands National Kau Competition, where they brought home 12 medals, has earned them the chance to represent the Cook Islands in Australia. This opportunity is a testament to their hard work and dedication under the guidance of their coach, Dani Adendorff. Embracing their first international swim event, Coach Dani and her team are showcasing the true beauty of sports by seizing opportunities and overcoming challenges.

About Us

In the Cook Islands, we are surrounded by water and spend countless hours swimming in lagoons, oceans, and pools. As an aquatics club, we strive to provide innovative opportunities for everyone, whether for competition, fitness, or water safety. Water safety and swimming skills are fundamental for all water sports, including sailing, oe vaka, paddleboarding, and snorkelling.

How You Can Help

Your support is crucial to making this dream a reality. Every donation, big or small, will go directly towards travel expenses for our team. Thank you for helping our swimmers take this incredible step forward.

🏊‍♂️ In April 2024, 12 swimmers earned 12 medals at the Cook Islands Aquatics Federation KAU Competition.

🏊‍♀️ By July 2024, 6 swimmers competed in their first international swim competition and won GOLD in the staggered start relays at the School Sport Australia competition in Australia.

🏊 In October 2024, at the Cook Islands Games 2024 in Rarotonga, swimmers competed in 50-metre sprint events, earning podium finishes in each category.

🌊 Last month, they began training for long-distance swimming and nailed their 1.5km motu swim and boiler swim at the Cook Island Games with U14 Aitutakian tamariki making up half the field in their age division.
