Help Alayna attend the 3 week Intensive DMI Therapy she needs

$6,265 of $20,000 goal
Given by 47 generous donors in around 4 months

We need your help getting our little Alayna to her 3 week Intensive DMI Therapy

Red Beach, Auckland

Alayna (2.5 y) has a rare genetic disorder called CACNA1A in addition to an eye movement disorder (tonic up gaze), Global developmental delay and Cerebral Palsy... but she doesn't let her diagnosis get in her way. She is such a determined little girl and has such a strong will (much like her 2 older sisters!) If you have been following Alayna's journey, you will know that last July we were incredibly blessed to be able to attend the 2 week Intensive Therapy program at The Centre of Movement in Australia. It was amazing to say the least. Alayna made such great gains and we as parents learned so much about how her body works and what exercises will benefit her to get her as independent as possible. We are planning another trip to the Gold coast early this year and later in the year in Rotorua NZ!

The therapy cost is $8,675nzd for Rotorua and $7,760nzd for Gold Coast. This includes 3 hours per day for 3 weeks. the Centre of Movement have extended a discount for NZ families to help with travel costs.

We plan to do this therapy annually which is the most effective course of action for Alayna therefore all money raised will be accessed for those trips throughout her life. Last time we reached our $14k goal in just 2 weeks, we are praying for another miracle. Please help us make this happen by donating or standing in prayer with us.

Can no longer go to Rotorua clinic and only option is the GC now  7 May 2024

Hey everyone, thanks again for all your donations! Quick update, we have now lost our spot in the Rotorua intensive because we didn't book in time (this was pending funds being raised). We are now only able to go to the GC in September! Thank you for making it possible to now pay the security deposit to secure our spot so we can lock that in! We were also able to partially withdraw our Kiwisaver retirement funds to subsidize what we arent able to raise so all going well we should be able to go over this September! I have started another Givealittle (search "help alayna get to therapy") as we will be continuously raising funds for future trips. God Bless you all!
