Daniel's YWAM Missionary Dream.
Nelson / Tasman
Hi everyone, my name is Daniel Luke.
For the past 6 months, I’ve been at home recovering from glandular fever. It’s been a slow and challenging season, but also one where I’ve had time to reflect on what really matters to me and what I feel called to do next.
For years now, I’ve had a strong desire to do YWAM (Youth With A Mission). It’s something I’ve been thinking about since I was around 14, and more seriously since I was 17. I love Jesus, and I want to grow in my faith, learn how to share the Gospel, & be part of a team that is passionate about seeing lives changed.
This year, I have the opportunity to attend YWAM Furnace NZ, and I would love to step into it.
What I will be doing
1. Training Phase (DTS – Discipleship Training School)
This phase focuses on building a strong foundation in faith. It includes teaching on evangelism, learning how to share testimonies, growing spiritually, and serving alongside local ministries.
This cost also covers food, accommodation, and training.
2. Outreach Phase (2 months overseas)
The second phase is an outreach trip somewhere in the world, partnering with both long-term and short-term ministries. This is where we put everything into practice serving communities, sharing the Gospel, and supporting ongoing mission
I truly believe God will provide a way, and I’m excited to keep you all updated on the journey, both in preparing for YWAM and while I’m there.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for any support you give 🤍
