Assisting Abbie with mounting vet bills after Fae's medical misadventure

My dear friend Abbie's sweet little staffy Fae (AKA sausage aka chicken nugget) got up to some mischief and consumed 1.3kgs of kibble in a single sitting. Unfortunately this resulted in "food bloat" which is a medical emergency.
Fae had one procedure which was unsuccessful and ended up needing emergency surgery. Due to this occurring after hours, her insurance has quickly been maxed out at $5,000 leaving Abbie with a hefty bill.
Fae is a much loved companion and this has been a very stressful 24 hours. Abbie has given years of care to others, now its her turn to receive support. Any support towards these costs would be very gratefully received ❤️

Happy 5th Birthday Sausage! 22 December 2025
It has been 2 weeks since Fae ate 9% of her body weight and nearly killed herself. We are all very grateful to have her here with us to move into our new home this weekend.
Fae’s stitches came out on Friday, the incision is healing well, and she’s got 2 more weeks of on lead only walks while everything heals up.
Thank you to everyone who has donated to Fae’s medical misadventure Give A Little Page over the past 2 weeks and helped raise nearly $3000, it has made things significantly less stressful for us. 🐾🐾
