Meet Roland a 14-year-old basketball enthusiast from South Auckland, whose dedication and determination have led him to an amazing opportunity: he has been selected to play in an elite tournament in Las Vegas among hundreds of aspiring athletes!

I met Roland in 2024 while he played alongside my son in Counties Manukau U14 A team. From the very beginning he has shown us what it means to have a big heart. He has spent time around my whanau/aiga and it is clear why he is known for his kindness and politeness.

He is not only a talented player but also a wonderful teammate who lifts those around him. His commitment to the sport is evident in his hard work during practices; he trains diligently, always arrives on time, and approaches every game with a positive attitude, ready to give his best.

This tournament represents not just a chance for Roland to showcase his skills, but also an opportunity to learn and grow as an athlete. It's a dream come true for him but participating in this once-in-a-lifetime event comes with significant costs, and we need your support to make it happen.

The trip costs $6500 (covers every cost) and we are hoping to get only that amount for him.
