Help Gloria On Her Path to Wellness

Gloria is a creative, passionate individual with many dreams for the future. She loves taking photos of nature and has had some success and recognition as an amateur photographer. Digital illustration is another passion of hers, and she will spend many hours creating her art.

Throughout her life, Gloria has been diagnosed with many things; anorexia, depression, psychosis and most recently borderline personality disorder. At the age of 22, she is self-medicating in an attempt to deal with the past ten years of mental illness and trauma. This has led to a crippling dependency that will lead to more suffering if it isn't addressed - and soon.

Gloria has given everything within her means a go; she has been to therapy and counselling within the public mental health system for many years but unfortunately due to how stretched the public system is they are simply unable to offer the consistent support required and coping skills and learning needed for her to see her through this and get back on track.

The type of support that Gloria needs can best be found outside of the public system, but unfortunately is prohibitively expensive. Given her inability to work, and the fact that it is well beyond the means of her family and loved ones, she is now reaching out for help.
