Please help support Paremata boating club to preserve their historic clubrooms for the club, the community and future generations

Paremata Boating Club is located alongside the stunning Pāuatahanui inlet just North of Wellington, NZ.

The club has been operating for 102 years providing sailing opportunities for the local community, both young and old, our waters provide challenging conditions, from shifty winds to a prevailing northerly.

We run learn to sail opportunities, club racing and a venue for the community to use for events and other sports.

Maintaining a club and it historic and iconic buildings, of which part have been around for 100 years is becoming an increasing financial burden.

We need to undertake some significant urgent maintenance, including recladding, timber repairs and renewing the windows and doors. In addition, we plan to make the building accessible to all in the community, creating access new accessible route to the clubrooms and an upgrade to our facilities.

We would love your support in whatever way you can to help this project come to fruition for the members of the club and the wider community around Paremata and beyond. Your support will also help preserve this historic building for future generations to enjoy.

Use of funds

All donations will contribute to the funding required to renovate the clubrooms exterior, windows and doors and creating accessibility access for the community to enjoy.
