Attending NAPA intensive therapy will give Livvy the consistency and intensity needed to make real, lasting progress. Thank you 💜
New Plymouth, Taranaki
Our little girl Livvy (16yrs) was born with a rare chromosome disorder called 1p36 Deletion Syndrome, which affects her movement, speech, and development in many ways. Despite the challenges she faces, Livvy is full of joy, determination, and a spark that lights up everyone around her.
In July 2026, Livvy has an amazing opportunity to attend a 3 week intensive therapy program that combines physical and speech therapy. During these sessions, she’ll be working hard on two of her biggest goals — learning to walk more independently and expressing herself through her communication device.
Unfortunately, intensive therapy of this kind is not covered by regular funding, and the costs quickly add up — including therapy sessions, specialised equipment, and travel expenses.
How Your Help Makes a Difference:
Every donation, no matter the size, brings Livvy one step closer to her goals:
Physical therapy will help her build strength and balance so she can take more independent steps.
Speech therapy will help her communicate more clearly using her device and interact more with the world around her.
Your support means the world to our family — it gives Livvy the chance to keep climbing her mountain, one small but mighty step at a time.
All funds will go directly to pay for the therapy sessions ($195 Aus per session x 30 sessions)
