Help me to regain my life after kidney transplant!!

My daughter inlaw Giorgia is due to undergo a kidney transplant on the 21st of June 2023. Giorgia has been on life saving dialysis 3 times a week since she was a teenager and has been unable to travel more than 48hours anywhere. One of Giorgias dreams would be to to visit her Grandfather overseas. Funds raised would also be used for items /treatments Giorgia may need if said transplant was to fail.

Hi Family/Friends

In 2014 I had my first kidney transplant , unfortunately things didn't turn out the way we all hoped it would. Mum was my donor but sadly my disease took over and my transplanted kidney had to be removed. I have been dependent on dialysis 3 times a week ever since and have not experienced a "Normal" childhood or teen life. I ended up getting extreme sick and being admitted to hospital couple times a week. In 2019 I decided I needed to change the way I cared for myself. I didn't let dialysis control my life but knew I needed it to keep me alive. I am going for my second kidney transplant on 21st june 2023 this time donated by my Dad. This is my second chance at life. If it all goes well and is successful I want to pursue my dreams. I want the chance to do all the things I couldn't do due to being on dialysis. I want to travel overseas to see family and do things I didn't get to do at a young age. Even if this surgery was to fail I would still like the opportunity to travel before things get worse and to live my life while I still can.
