Hi everyone,

My name is Jess, and I’m reaching out to ask for help for my best friend, Milo.

Milo has been diagnosed with a mast cell tumour that urgently needs to be removed before it spreads. We’ve already been through a lot — I’ve spent $2,000 on biopsies, scans, blood tests, and checks on his liver and other lumps. Now, surgery is the only option to give him more time, comfort, and a chance at life.

Milo isn’t just a dog. He has been my rock, my family, and my support through everything. Over the years, Milo has fostered countless rescue dogs, helping them feel safe, secure, and loved when they were at their most scared and vulnerable. He has given so much of himself to others — now it’s my turn to fight for him.

I’ll do everything in my power to keep him here with me. I’m already seeking extra work to cover his ongoing medication and monitoring costs, but this surgery is urgent, and I can’t do it alone. This is my last option to give Milo the chance he deserves.

If you’ve ever had a pet you’ve loved like family, you’ll understand how much this means. Milo is my best friend, and losing him to something we have a chance to fight just isn’t an option I can accept without trying everything.
