Help my daughter smile again.

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out as a mum who just wants to see her daughter smile freely again.

Maddie is an incredibly kind, outgoing, and generous girl. She’s always been the one to put her hand up first, help others without being asked, and bring energy and warmth wherever she goes. But over the past two years, I’ve watched that confidence slowly fade.

Maddie has significant overcrowding in her teeth, has a very big overbite her teeth are badly misaligned and there simply isn’t enough room in her mouth. What might seem like “just teeth” has had a much deeper impact. She no longer smiles openly. She covers her mouth when she laughs, avoids photos, and uses filters to hide what she feels self-conscious about. It’s heartbreaking to see such a bright, social girl start to hold herself back.

We applied for support through Wish for a Smile, hoping to get her the help she needs, but unfortunately, we were declined.

Orthodontic treatment would make a life-changing difference for Maddie—not just physically, but emotionally and socially. It would give her back the confidence to be herself again, to smile without hesitation, and to step forward in life the way she used to.

We are now trying to raise funds to help cover the cost of her treatment. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean so much to our family and go directly towards helping Maddie regain her confidence.
