Help the Smith sisters live out their Futsal dreams!

Opportunities to progress in Football and Futsal are fleeting in any area, but even more rare when you're female and based on the far East Coast of NZ!

Players that are recognized and invited to compete at higher levels, often miss out due to the expense created for them to travel beyond the region.

The 3 Smith sisters have been chasing their football and Futsal dreams for a number of years now, training tirelessly, travelling all over the country and representing Tairawhiti in the most amazing way.

This year, for the first time, all three girls have been selected, by Hawke's Bay Futsal, to join their tournament teams throughout the year.

Culminating in the eldest two travelling to the Gold Coast to play in an international tournament in early 2025.

Most of their fees are covered by their family, however this next step up pushes the boundaries of their families' finances beyond their limits. For the first time, they are at risk of missing out.

Over the course of the next 12 months, the older girls are going to need to find fees in excess of $4000 each, just to take part in the events.

The girls will be hard at work over the next few months, doing every fundraising activity they can muster, embarking on some youth enterprise projects and of course, taking every spare minute to train.
