Help the Motueka Rudolf Steiner School Trust publish its history.
Motueka, Tasman
Forty years ago a group parents set out to provide Steiner education in the small rural town of Motueka. They started with a playgroup in Yvonne's living room and 40 years later the school and kindergarten have a roll of almost 150 students, occupying a 6 ha campus with another 7 ha of farmland nextdoor. The journey from Yvonn'e living room, to Pioneers Hall, to Wallace Street, to High Street, to the farm at Robinsons Road has been a journey of vision, passion and dedication from so many people. There has been hard work, set backs and joy along the way. The original founders and many of the key people who contributed have penned their stories for a book to celebrate the 40th anniversay. Find out who those pioneers were, what motivated them, and the extordinary challenges they overcame. The story and photos are inspirational and need to be published.
We aim to raise $3,500 to fund the book design and layout. We can then maximise sales by selling copies for the print cost only. Print costs are estimated to be $30 per book. The formal celebration and book launch are planned for 8 June 2024.
Please Give-a-Little and get your invitation to the celebration and book launch.

Thank you very much to everyone who donated to this project. We raised $2800 from 18 donations which will cover 80% of the pre-press costs. We can fund the rest from a small increase in the book price. You helped us make this happen.
