Help save little Elvis the Maltese!

Animal Control were called out to 3 roaming dogs in Highbury early August. All 3 were impounded and SPCA have taken 2 to rehome but this poor little guy has some skin condition and needs dental treatment so was turned away.

After spending over a week in the pound with noone calling to claim him as their own, his time was basically up before me and work colleagues spotted he was in there. I decided we couldn't let him die, we would try save him and he could go live with my mum if we could sort a way to help him. He has a beautiful nature, sits on command and has the cutest little face. Within minutes he just wanted to be snuggled.

Unfortunately we didnt know what the total costs were going to be but I couldnt not try! We have been given 2 weeks to decide whether we keep him or if we need to bring him back if hes going to cost too much. I certainly dont want to bring him back so am going to do my best to raise this money to help sort him out.

I took him for a check up with my vet today and she didn't have the greatest news. He has yeast infections in both ears, 8-10 teeth need to be pulled and he will need ongoing visits and tests to determine the cause of the skin conditions. Today's visit alone cost me $300 and then dental work will be between $900-$1,400. We will also need ongoing tests and visits to determine what is causing the skin conditions. I already have 2 dogs of my own, a child and a wedding coming up so cant do this on my own unfortunately. Every little bit helps! Let's save Elvis!
