HELP SELMA RECEIVE UNFUNDED TREATMENT TO BEAT CANCER

After being diagnosed with breast cancer five years ago and beating it, Selma has now been diagnosed with an aggressive Lung Cancer, despite never having smoked.

The day after her diagnosis she started chemotherapy but to give her the best chance possible she will also be doing Immunotherapy alongside Chemotherapy.

Immunotherapy (Atezolizumab) is not funded for this rare type of small cell lung cancer.

Those of us close to Selma have been inundated with people asking how they can tangibly help the Morcom family through this long and hard road ahead and so after much discussion Selma and Graham have agreed to let us, their friends and family start this 'givealittle' page to support them in this journey.

Selmas immunotherapy treatment is going to cost around $70k for the first year (after medical insurance contribution) and then about $20k/yr after that, plus there are the additional costs for trips to Hamilton and other healthcare facilities that they didn’t anticipate.
