Help Snow and her surprise baby Sage

My friend Nicole has a very loved horse, Snow. Snow joined Nicole earlier this year and they have been working on getting competition ready. Snow has been very well taken care of and has had regular vet checks, specialist appointments, and all the other things a horse needs. Despite the excellent care it seems something was missed!

On Tuesday night some changes in Snows body were noticed and an appointment was scheduled with the vet to rule out pregnancy or hormonal changes. But by the time the vet arrived on Thursday morning Snow was waiting proudly with her new baby!

Snow is doing great as a first time mum but the challenging start to the world has meant Snow and Sage have had to go to the hospital for a few days for some extra support.

Snow is insured, but due to the fast arrival of Sage she can’t yet be covered. The sudden costs above and beyond normal vet care are outside Nicole’s reach. That said, these girls still deserve the best care.
