Amigos Peer Support Group runs cafe and activity groups from Monday to Saturday in the Wellington city area for people who experience mental illness/distress. We provide a safe space for connection and conversation, creativity, exercise and opportunities to try new hobbies or pick up an old one. Your donation today will help with operational costs and events we put on throughout the year.
About us
Wellington After-Care Association Inc. (trading as Evaro) is one of the oldest charities in Wellington, providing services for adults with intellectual disabilities and mental health consumers for more than 95 years. We have three services in the Wellington region supporting people with disabilities. 1. Evaro, a day service focusing on life-skills and community participation. 2. Evaro Employment, a supported employment service working with individuals to gain and maintain paid employment in the mainstream workforce; and 3. Evaro Transition which supports the school students and their family/whanau to find positive life outcomes beyond secondary school.
