Help Support Annette Osborne’s Strategic International Role

Annette is one year into her part-time role (40%) with Scripture Union International, as a Children’s Ministry Consultant. Last year, through a team of generous givers we were able to raise what we needed for Annette’s expenses in less than 23 hours! This year we are trusting God to cover these costs again. Your donation will enable Annette to continue this strategic role, equipping children’s ministry leaders around the globe.

In response to a growing concern around the world about the rates of young people leaving the church and their faith, Annette has been developing training material to help SU movements and local churches disciple their children and young people. The coming year will be vital, as the SU International team seeks to equip and train key staff and volunteers with these resources so they can facilitate training sessions in their own contexts.

Annette is helping shape thinking about the place of children in the church, and exploring models of ministry that help children flourish in their faith. In the last year she has led workshops in Europe and Africa, training and encouraging staff and volunteers in their crucial work with children. This coming year will see her visit more SU movements around the world, meeting with and encouraging staff and volunteers.
