Aroha nui to Jo
21 June 2023Very sadly Jo left us last Wednesday morning, with her two boys at her side. She fought long and hard, and always with positivity and courage. Many thanks to everyone who very kindly contributed to Jo's treatment. This treatment kept Jo with us, and with her boys, for a whole year and half longer than predicted, time in which Jo created some very special memories for her boys. We farewelled Jo yesterday and it was a beautiful service that celebrated the incredible wāhine and mother that she was. Kia kaha Jo on your final adventure. We love you and will miss you, always.

How very sad. Jo was an amazing kaiako to our daughter Tallulah in year four. She had so much passion for teaching and te ao Māori. She will be greatly missed. Moenga roa Jo.
