Help us finish our building.
To raise $150,000 to complete our building so that we can start using it for events, conferences and monthly gatherings.Hawke's Bay
As many of you know we bought a building 2 years ago for cash in Hastings, New Zealand. The purpose for buying the building was to have a place in New Zealand where we could run The Nest from and have many different meetings within our nation with international speakers.
The building needed a lot of love and attention. In the past 2 year we have spent over $200,000 renovating the building. One of the largest costs was the replacement of the roof which cost us $117,000. We also had to get an engineering firm to do an Earth Quake assessment on the building to make sure that we were complaint and safe, that alone cost $27,000. The wonderful and amazing news is that our rating came back at 90%, which means that we have the highest rating possible and not even considered Earth Quake prone. This is a massive achievement for our nation.
So as you can see we have a phenomenal building from an engineering standpoint, considering it was built the 1960's.
We are now at the place where we need to raise extra capital to finish our building so that we can start using it for different events and monthly meetings.
We would like to raise $150,000. What we need to raise the finance for is the following:
2. An extra toilet block.
3. Lighting and some sound equipment.
4. New windows in the upper roof section.
You can help us achieve this by sowing into this project for the final push.
Use of funds
If we exceed our goal then we will use the extra funds for building maintenance. If we do not meet our goal then we will use the money raised to do some of the work and we will personally finance the remainder.
FundraiseYou can start a fundraiser to have your own page that raises money directly for the beneficiary.
