Mhyro’s second chance of life from Guillain–Barré syndrome after receiving COVID vaccine.
International
Hello brother and sisters. how are you all? Sending you this just to see if anyone would be able to help with my Nephew’s fight against Guillain–Barré syndrome.
He is just 19 years old. His Dad died because of suicide and his mum has no job. He then moved in our house as he got nowhere else to go. Unfortunately, Last Aug. 25 he had a COVID vaccine and got a side effect from it called Guillain–Barré syndrome or GBS that is causing a an ascending paralysis starting from feet to head.
The situation in Philippines is tough, all hospitals are in full capacity. We shopped around hospitals all of them are full fortunately we found one but they charge 20k pesos ($400)per day on top of his laboratories, medications and Doctor’s fee. His paralysis started on his feet and now on his chest. We can stop this as per the doctor.
Right now his only hope is called IVIG (immunoglobulin). This what we are trying to raise as he requires 4 vials a day for 8 days. This cost roughly 10k USD.
I am trying to raise a fund so I can help my nephew to have a second chance in life. He is just 19 and it is so painful seeing him fading each day. I am just taking chances if you could help. Any amount, referral or prayers would do.
Thank you very much brothers and sisters
