Times are hard for everyone as we all know but with Nicky being off work being by her husband and Sons side the bills also don't stop coming

Hi everyone
My good friend Nicky and her family have been hit hard with Influenza A Zeke her 14 year old son and Husband Andrew have both ended up with Pneumonia from it resulting in both of them having to be Sedated in a drug induced coma, Intubated flown to the dunedin ICU. The one good thing is they are both side by side in the ICU.

Nicky is my bonus mum.I started working with Nicky when I was 18 years old and she took me under her wing and ive never left there. Her Son Zeke holds a very special place in my heart as I've watched him grow from the womb to the young man he is today.
Use of funds
The money I aim to raise for Nicky and her family is to help with the living costs while she's away in dunedin as well as helping with the living costs that will still Occur when she's not at home.

Kia Ora whanau and friends, as of yesterday it has been 3 weeks in the ICU. Zeke is definitely heading in the right direction and today spent a lot of time sitting in a chair. He loves getting hoisted from his bed to a chair. The Dr's are weaning him off his drugs, which are pretty heavy duty. He is also being weaned off the ventilator, this will take time. As soon as they can get him off ventilation they will remove his trachy. He is very grumpy and frustrated but that is driving his enthusiasm to get up and get better. Andrew is still day by day. He is sedated, having kidney dialysis and it is a complete rollercoaster. His oxygen support has lowered to 50%. We are just holding our breath and crossing our fingers and hoping for a miracle.♥️
