Please Help, Govt isnt Helping

I haqd an Accident, Shattered my Knee into 9 pieces and also broke my thigh and ankle and have now had 4 surgeries, I had to go off work and onto ACC.

ACC told me I have to go back to work when I had my 4th surgery to remove my kneecap in which I couldn't even walk so I took ACC to Court and won, In the meantime I had to try and make ends meet as well as feed my two young children on a sickness benefit.

ACC took their time in paying and were ordered to pay WINZ back what they had paid me which they duly did. Now WINZ is saying I owe them the money and are recouping the money from me, No amount of talking, producing evidence etc has worked and I have written to the Minister of Social Development to no avail.

Not only have I suffered financially, Mentally and of course physically but now the Government want me to suffer a double whammy Financial loss.

All I have done wrong is have an accident. I am hoping the good folk in New Zealand may be able to help in some small way to ease the Burden so that I may be able to get on with my life with the limited mobility I now have.
