Please help pay for urgent C.T scan to assist in saving the life of my beloved baby Chihuahua who has suffered a tragic accident

Auckland

Hi

I started a give a little cause page with the hope of getting my dog the help she needed from the vets that I couldn't afford I wasn't sure if it would work or not, and it turns out it is working great, my problem now though is that I only put down the money needed for the CT scan as my amount needed and I am going to need to raise more for the operation or care for her when I actually find out what's wrong with her.

She is booked in for her scan this monday unfortunately i have only raised enough for this and outstanding vet bills at present.

This cause may seem minor to some but it means the world to me and hopefully I can then raise enough funds to follow through with treatment..

Thank you all so far for your support

You have no idea how much I appreciate it.

I am desperately trying to raise enough funds to help my poor baby get the proper care and treatment required after she was attacked by a German Sheppard on the 29th of January of this year.

I ran to her aid in a panic where I thought she was dead. She possibly went into shock also appeared to have a seizure when awakening & getting her to an after hours vet out of Auckland could only help so much as she needed to be driven back after 3 days vet up north as required a C.T scan of her skull, neck and thoracic spine.

We were quoted $2600 Which was not possible and has still not been possible weeks later. Plus day stay care if any longer only concurred extra costs of $400 per day.

Its seemed near impossible. Whilst in vet care she has gone blind in one eye.. She was extremely stressed & once we got her back to Auckland we were told without an ct scan she will not be able to get the treatment required.

I am desperately trying to raise enough funds to help my poor baby get the proper care and treatment required after she was attacked by a German Sheppard on the 29th of January of this year.

She was kept in vet care up north up until the 2nd of February where she was driven back to Auckland and required a C.T scan of her skull, neck and thoracic spine.

We were quoted $2600 (paid that day) and was not possible. As it has still not been possible weeks later..plus day stay care if any longer only concurred extra costs of $400 per day.

It seemed near impossible. Seeing her in so much pain is breaking my heart..

So I will need to change this.

Hopefully I can then raise enough funds to follow through with treatment..

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
