Hibburt Park upgrade
We are seeking to raise funds to upgrade and repair Hibburt Park so it can be used as a retreat centre for Christian young adults.

Our dream is to create a functional, peaceful space where young people can come and live for several months at a time during their gap year. During their stay we would be helping them grow holistically: spiritually, socially, physically, mentally and emotionally. This would include encouraging physical exercise and eating healthily; supporting emotional breakthrough and growth; providing relevant resources to be challenged and grow academically; daily times of reflection and time with God and with Scripture; developing socially as they interact with us and one another and times of prayer.

Hibburt Park is in a spectacular location (near the beach, opposite Spencer Park) but it is in desperate need of an upgrade. Our goal is to raise funds for building supplies (gib, insulation, plumbing, re-wiring) so the park can become functional and be used all year round.
We're not aiming for luxury - just functionality!
Anything you can give, ($10, $20, $50) will be a huge blessing to us and to the many young people we hope to invest into in the years ahead...so thank you!!

Matt and Belinda Stott have taken over managing Hibburt Park, along with the extremely ambitious role of doing it up so it can be used all year round to bless young people in New Zealand.
About us
Hibburt Park is a Christian camp located by the beach in Spencerville, Christchurch. It exists to help young people fall in love with Jesus, deal with their issues and become contributing members of their communities. The camp is overseen by Revolution Church (Christchurch) and managed by Matt & Belinda Stott.

Well friends,
With just 6 hours of our Hibburt Park fundraiser left to go it looks like we may not be able to reach our initial goal of $40,000.
While this is understandably disappointing for us, we need you to know that we have be greatly encouraged by your generous giving and incredible support.
We would also like you to know that although we haven't raised enough money to finish the project, we have raised enough to begin it, which is very exciting.
